I spent my early life following the path that the matrix had set out for me. After graduating from UC Berkeley, I spent 15 years building a successful career in software product development, I bought an Electric Vehicle, got married, started a family, signed a mortgage. In 2012 I moved my family to 6 acres in Temecula with the aim of trying to be self sufficient. We planted trees, raised chickens, built green houses, remodel our small home and worked the land as best we could...until 2016.
In 2016, I received a letter from my mortgage company, informing me they were transferring my mortgage to a new company. I asked the new bank to show me the proof of transfer. I thought I was asking a simple and justified paperwork request.
The "proof" the new bank sent me as their claim that they had the right to collect my mortgage payments was a photocopy of the NOTE and DEED OF TRUST I already had a copy of in my files. THE EXACT SAME PHOTOCOPY! No new stamps, no new signatures, no statement on the public record! NOTHING NEW was sent to me. The new bank's name was nowhere to be found on any of the "validation" documents they sent me. I was baffled!
That's how I began to learn about the matrix of contracts we are born into and sign up for without knowing who we are and how we are contracting. In my ignorance (at the time), I lost the battle for that property. It turns out, I needed to learn the lesson the hard way because I was too comfortable in the Matrix. I might have never gotten out! But, it doesn't HAVE to be a struggle, and I'm determined to help others exit the MATRIX with much less discomfort than I suffered. That is why I created Conscious Contracting.
